On Saturday we packed up some of our equipment, some enthusiastic student volunteers and staff and headed out to Stanhope Hall in Horncastle, the head quarters of the local U3A. There we demonstrated some of the research we do, including GSR in emotion research, motor control and prism glasses, dog bite prevention, saccodometer and doppler, balloon pumping risk measures, human-animal interaction and educational computer games. And we brought along some fun visual illusions, brain wave games and dementia friends awareness. The day was a great success with many U3A members signed up to do more studies in the School of Psychology.
