Two post-doctoral Research Fellowships (Fixed Term) available

Two opportunities are available within the School of Psychology for individuals who have recently completed, or who are very close to completing, a PhD in psychology or related subject area. These positions will allow successful candidates to work alongside a successful senior academic within the School to support existing programmes of research and to develop themselves as independent scientific researchers in their own right. As well as generating high impact publications in their respective research area, candidates will also be encouraged to seek opportunities for external research funding. Internal funding support is also available for conference attendance, equipment and other essential research expenses. Candidates will also benefit from the University of Lincoln’s researcher development training programme and the College of Social Science’s exciting programme of early career researcher training events and away days. Priority will be given to applicants whose research area lies within visual perception, developmental or evolutionary psychology and comparative cognition, with at least one appointment to be made within the domain of Vision Science. Informal enquiries may be directed to Prof.’s George Mather (, College of Social Science Research Director) or Kerstin Meints (, Evolution and Development Research Group Lead).
